Warn Out was started by Holly Warn at the end of 2007.  Holly is a stay at home mum who enjoyed sewing and wanted to work from home to be closer to her daughter, Zoe who was born in September 2007.

When trying to locate a baby sling for herself she found it difficult to find any baby slings that were to her liking and in her price range. After much research she found the most practical design which allows easy adjustment for the wearer not to mention easy to wear and use.  This design is the 'Ring Sling' which consists of two CAST aluminium rings triple stitched three times into 2.2 metres of fabric using a pleat called the 'centrefold' pleat also same thing as a box pleat (if you know a bit about sewing). This simple centerfold is wide and will spread out nicely, and because of its symmetry, will cup the shoulder perfectly. The rings are sewn in so that the pleated parts are underneath. I find this a comfortable pleat for all shapes and sizes.

After selling slings locally at the Saturday Nelson Market this eventually led on to more designing, such as, Merino Sleep Sacks, breast pads, Baby Kimonos etc.

I thoroughly enjoy what I do and I like to see that people are getting value for money, as certain things seem to be rather expensive in the baby market.

I hope to continue sewing for many more years to come and value any comments or suggestions that you may like to send me.  Please email me on info@warnout.co.nz

Many thanks!
